While the Xbox Series X|S console doesn't have a lot of console exclusives to call its own, especially one made by a third-party studio, there's one game this year that not only reviewed well, but also doesn't seem to favor Sony's PS5 console when it comes to releases. I'm, of course, referring to GSC Game World's STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
If you're a PS5 owner expecting to see the game appear on the console, given it's the clear-cut generational leader, you might be waiting a while, as the studio has confirmed they aren't working on a STALKER 2 PS5 port currently.
GSC Confirms No Plans Of Porting STALKER 2 On PS5
This tidbit of news was confirmed in an interview by Ievgen Grygorovych, game director of STALKER 2.
When asked whether GSC Game World has plans to port the shooter to other consoles, Grygorovych replied, "We were fully focused on developing (and now supporting) the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions."
