Square Enix has launched updates for both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Both Final Fantasy 7 games received recent updates prior to this, and this one is addressing an issue that some players have recently made.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth's recent updates both added the ability to fast-forward through cutscenes, but also had some differences. For Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, version 1.070 fixed some character display issues on the PlayStation 5 Pro enhanced mode, while Final Fantasy 7 Remake added a Head Start function that gives players bonus money, and advanced levels, equipment, and materia.
