Black Ops 6 Players Are Convinced The Game Is Becoming Pay-To-Win

Call of Duty has always faced pay-to-win allegations. Last year, Merlin the Dog caused controversy for barking and growling when near an enemy, and in previous years, certain purchasable skins and weapons have seemingly given players an advantage.

To celebrate the festive season, Black Ops 6 is running a nearly two week long Double XP event.

With Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 a little under two months old, the pay-to-win allegations have begun to surface, with players claiming that certain skins are making it difficult for them to see what's happening on the battlefield.

Black Ops 6's skins have already caused a bit of a ruckus. Treyarch shared that it wouldn't carry over cosmetics from previous Call of Duty games to this one; it also added a weird shark and other monstrosities, and players found that one skin would cost $50 worth of COD pointsall in the name of "fun".

The latest controversy, however, stems from the fact that some skins can seemingly be used to obstruct the enemy's vision on certain maps.
