Just two days separate 2024 from 2025, and the upcoming new year promises to be a strong year when it comes to gaming. The likes of Grand Theft Auto 6, Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country have all been given 2025 release windows, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Not counting Judas, Doom: The Dark Ages, and literally anything on the Switch 2, of course.
2025 will also bring in the next batch of annualized sports titles, including WWE 2K25. While no cover star has been announced just yet, fans are already looking forward to the various wrestlers who will make their WWE debut when the game does launch. WWE games have historically implemented a "cut-off" timeframe for adding new roster members, and while DLC does do some lifting, not everyone makes the cut.
