While Indiana Jones and the Great Circle hasn't been out for more than a month, it seems IP holder Disney is happy with what Machine Games has made and that they want more of it.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was released on Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9, 2024, and so far, based on critic reviews, it's one of the year's best games. On Open Critic, it's sitting at an impressive "Mighty" rating with over 94% of critics recommending it.
Disney Reportedly Called To Say They Want More Indiana Jones Games
In the latest episode of the Xbox Two podcast (via Games Radar), reliable Microsoft leaker Jez Corden said he has "heard that Disney picked up the phone and wants more Indiana Jones," This latest purported development at the House of Mouse comes after Douglas Reilly, Vice President and General Manager of Lucasfilm Games, also expressed interest in seeing more whip-snapping adventures.
While no sequel has been officially announced, Machine Games is busy with the game's DLC titled "The Order of Giants," which has no release date yet. What we do know is the premium (read: paid) expansion will see Indie visit Vatican City...
