NetEase Games has announced a Marvel Rivals crossover with other key franchise titles, including Marvel Snap, Marvel Puzzle Quest, and Marvel Future Fight, coming in the New Year.
Developers posted a statement on X, slating the “brand new collaboration” for a January 3, 2025 release, making it the first major event for the hero shooter since its launch less than a month ago. The current Season 0: Dooms' Rise features several other collaborations, but none involves so many high-profile Marvel gaming ensembles.
What to Expect in Marvel Rivals Crossover
No further details were provided regarding the missions or rewards, but NetEase Games will surely share something soon. Given past trends, players should expect familiar elements such as collectibles, exclusive titles, specific missions, and more. For example, the current Rivals Fortnite collaboration gives you a free glider and the Doctor Doom skin, among other perks.
In addition to recent Marvel Rivals free skins for fans, the hero shooter offers Twitch drop-affiliated missions packed with loot, such as the Magneto attire you unlock just by linking your accounts and streaming events.
