It's been three years since Goichi Suda, more popularly known as Suda 51, released No More Heroes 3, but we should be hearing more about what Suda 51's studio, Grasshopper Manufacture, has been cooking up in 2025.
Suda confirmed this in a year-end feature by Japanese gaming site 4Gamer (via Gematsu), in which over 160 developers were asked for their plans for 2025. Suda 51 said, "I’ll announce a new title. Err, maybe. For sure." There are no ifs, and or buts about it; that's outright confirmation that an announcement is on the way in 2025. However, we don't know just when that'll happen.
Suda 51's Past Body Of Work Has Been Very Varied
While Suda 51's last game released was the action-adventure game No More Heroes 3, we can't say that his subsequent work will be in the same genre. Suda has been a bit eclectic in his game development work, with his past releases ranging from a shoot-'em-up in Sine Moira, to even acting as a Scenario Writer in Fire Pro Wrestling World.
