We're rapidly running out of January which means we'll almost certainly hear something more concrete about Pokemon TCG Pocket's next set any day now. The Pocket team has confirmed new booster packs will be added to the game before the end of this month, and according to a usually reliable leaker, its focus will be on Pokemon's fourth generation.
That new information comes from eb576dcfe on Twitter who, rather amusingly, goes by the name Not A Leaker. This particular source hasn't always gone by a seemingly random string of letters and numbers and was formerly known as Pyoro. Pyoro regularly, and accurately, leaked the content of upcoming Nintendo Directs until confirmation that they get their info directly from a Nintendo employee was revealed to the world.
The Pocket player has been maxing out on gold every single day since launch, likely spending more than $8,000.
Pyoro returned to Twitter under a different name at the tail end of 2024 and has used their new account to hint that Pocket's next set will largely feature Pokemon from the Sinnoh region.
