Nintendo Switch 2 is just on the horizon, if certain rumors are to be believed, and we got a decent look at the system itself during Nintendo's big reveal earlier this month. We still don't know what Nintendo is going to do when it comes to the system's first-party lineup though, and while Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and a new Mario Kart have all been confirmed, the system doesn't currently have a massive flagship title to launch with.
We can only really guess at what that could possibly be, with a Nintendo Direct focused on the Switch 2 coming in April, but it's possible that one online retailer may have jumped the gun. First spotted by Insider Gaming, an online retailer called Newegg has included a new 3D Mario game, as well as a Legend of Zelda remaster/remake, as part of the catalog of Nintendo Switch games launching in 2025.
The listing itself is for a Nintendo eShop voucher, and includes a short list of games that it can be used to purchase throughout 2025. Metroid Prime, Pokemon, and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition are all listed, as were the aforementioned Mario and Zelda...
