A new trailer for Resident Evil 3 has been dropped, and it puts Nemesis front and center.

The new trailer, seen below, gives us a good taste at how relentless and terrifying Resident Evil 3's antagonist will be. In the trailer, we see Nemesis terrorizing protagonist Jill Valentine. Like Tyrant in Resident Evil 2, Nemesis will chase after Jill throughout the game. What makes him worse, however, is his ability to use weapons. In the trailer, we see him come after Jill with a massive flamethrower and tentacles, though we do not see his signature rocket launcher. We also see just how tough it will be to take down the beast. The trailer ends with Nemesis taking a car head-on, and getting back up for more after the car crashes through him. The trailer teases players by showing them the nightmare that they will have on their hands.

The trailer also shows off Resident Evil 3's second protagonist, Carlos Oliveria. Last week it was revealed that the remake of Resident Evil 3 will give Carlos a bigger presence, as he will have parts of the game dedicated to him. The new trailer reveals that he is a part of the UBCS, who also seem to be stuck in Raccoon City with Jill. We see him help Jill out, and take on some zombies for good measure.

It has been revealed that there are a number of changes coming to Resident Evil 3. The game is trading the fixed camera angles for the over-the-shoulder perspective that we see in other entries in the series, such as Resident Evil 4. The game will drop the multiple endings, as well as the original's Mercenaries mode. Instead, Resident Evil 3 will feature a new asymmetrical multiplayer mode called Resident Evil Resistance, which pits four survivors against a mastermind.

Resident Evil 3 will release on April 3rd. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
