It seems Palworld's legal troubles may have decreased a bit after Pocketpair made big changes to its summoning systems. Nintendo's biggest gripe in the lawsuit was that its Palspheres summoning system was too similar to that of Pokemon's Pokeballs. With the similar features now removed, it seems the devs can focus on working on the game again.
If Nintendo is successful, it will set a dangerous precedent for the future of the games industry.
On that note, Pocketpair revealed an update roadmap for the game, featuring a number of improvements, co-op crossplay, World Transfers for Pals, but most notably, a final boss/ending scenario. While it was unclear at the time what this ending scenario would be, Pocketpair has finally shed some light on it.
