We now have a clue on how the Joker will play when he releases for Mortal Kombat 11.

A new trailer has been released for Mortal Kombat 11, showcasing the Joker this time around. The fighter mainly uses a vicious looking cane for damage, but does have a bag of tricks up his sleeve. This includes a few different versions of a jack-in-the-box, extending boxing gloves, and a Batman hand puppet with a gun in its mouth. The fatality that the trailer shows Joker perform mocks the Friendship finishers that were featured in older Mortal Kombat titles. The trailer shows that Joker is a lot less restrained than he has been in the Injustice series and the Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe title that released a while back. He seems to fit in his new environment, and revels in the blood and chaos. You can check out the trailer below:

Joker was not the only thing shown off in the trailer. It was also shown that some characters will get costumes based off of Batman's rouges gallery. Baraka gains a skin that is based off of Killer Croc, Noob Saibot dresses up as The Batman Who Laughs, Kitana cosplays as Catwoman, and Geras sports a Darkseid skin.

Joker will be available on January 28th for those who own the Kombat Pack. Everyone else will be able to purchase him separately on February 4th. Joker is the fifth of six DLC characters to come to Mortal Kombat 11 as a part of the game's $39.99 Kombat Pack. He follows Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, The Terminator, and Sindel. The final character who will be a part of the Kombat Pack is Image Comic's Spawn. He will be released on March 17th for Kombat Pass owners, and a week later for everyone else. There is no word at the moment if there will be a second Kombat Pass.
