Dying Light Developer Techland Is Working On "Multiple Unnanounced Projects"

It may be hard to believe, but Dying Light as a franchise has turned 10 years old. Indeed, 10 years ago today, January 27, the original Dying Light was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and after years of post-launch support, a follow-up, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, arrived in 2022.

The new chapter in the Dying Light series shows everything we love about it, but its new trick raises some questions.

In honor of the franchise's 10-year anniversary, developer Techland revealed its plans for how its celebrating the game that put it on the map. Not only that, but the studio has teased future projects beyond this summer's Dying Light The Beast.

In a press release shared online, Techland revealed that original events will be returning to the first Dying Light, while special rewards commemorating the first game can be nabbed. What's more, Dying Light will get another update that will improve the visual quality, as will Stay Human with a reworked prologue.

Of course, it won't be long before fans can play the next entry in the series as The Beast has been earmarked for Summer 2025. Currently, the team is "tweaking the moveset...
