Patch 8 for Baldur's Gate 3 is almost here. To iron out the bugs, Larian Studios has launched the official stress test. Some PS5 players were lucky to play with it yesterday, but now it's officially available for everyone.
Cross-play between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation is one of the big features of the upcoming patch. You can test it out by creating or joining a lobby. Make sure cross-play is enabled in the multiplayer online settings, head to the multiplayer menu, select cross-play, and create a lobby!

There are certain mod-related restrictions for cross-play.
Larian notes that the PC host "must have less than 100 mods installed on that save and only include mods that are accepted on console and Mac, which are indicated by the “Available on Mac and Console” tag when browsing available mods. Otherwise, a mod mismatch will be detected, and you will not be able to join the host’s game."
