Baldurs Gate 3 Unveils Details for Update 8 Stress Test

Larian Studios has released Patch 8 for Baldurs Gate 3 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, but it’s currently a stress test for selected users to try out its new features. However, not all players will be able to install it, as this is part of a stress test. By mistake, this update was released yesterday (January 27, 2025) on PS5, but today marks the official launch of the playtest on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. If you’re playing on PlayStation or PC, you’ll need to register through this link to gain access to the Patch 8 test. For Xbox players, you’ll need to download the Xbox Insider Hub App from the Microsoft Store and submit your application.
