After being brutally overtaken by Marvel Rivals in the hero-shooter space, Blizzard seems to be upset, which could ultimately be the reason why the studio has officially announceda special showcase for Overwatch 2 next month.
Scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 12th, at 10:00 AM PT, the showcase called the Overwatch 2 Spotlight will give us an insight into the upcoming heroes, maps, and more new content for the game.
The blog mentions how there are going to be some 'groundbreaking' changes in the PvP experience that will allegedly be unlike anything the players have played before, ultimately giving hope to the last few remaining fans of the game.
The Spotlight stream will take place on the game's official YouTube and Twitch channels. Furthermore, the studio will also be flying out several Overwatch creators to Blizzard's office in Irvine for hands-on experience of the new gameplay.
There is also a reward waiting for the viewers, as watching any of the content creator's streams for a minimum of one hour will unlock the Lucio Cyber DJ Legendary Skin as an exclusive drop.
