Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Price Has Plummeted After Not Hitting Sales Expectations

EA revealed the disappointing news last week that Dragon Age: The Veilguard didn't meet the lofty expectations it set for it by quite some way, only pulling in half the players it expected at launch. The studio now appears to be performing damage control by slashing the price of the game across multiple storefronts, dropping The Veilguard to its lowest price to date.

That price is nowhere close to its previous lowest either as right now, you can pick up a copy of Dragon Age: The Veilguard at GameStop or through Amazon for just $24.99. The lowest price the latest Dragon Age game had dropped to before now was $39.99, hitting that low over Christmas and then again during the January sales.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will only get updates for "game-breaking bugs" now, so don't expect any few features.

Even a drop of $30 from The Veilguard's MSRP of $69.99 doesn't appear to have been enough to steady the ship, hence EA knocking an additional $15 off the price of the game to bring it down to almost a third of its original price less than three months on from its release.
