It sounded almost too good to be true that Team17's ambitious new dating simulator Date Everything was going to be ready in time for a Valentine's Day release, and turns out it was. Sassy Chap's debut game isn't going to be quite ready in time to launch on the most romantic day of the year and is now aiming for a release date sometime in June of this year.
The update on Date Everything's launch, and confirmation that it will be here in five months rather than two weeks, comes via a statement issued today by the game's lead designer, Ray Chase. Chase informs those eager to play the game that even though Date Everything is up to a standard that meets their "bonkers artistic vision", there are still creases that need to be ironed out before the game is made available to the public.
