Warner Bros. Is Reportedly Going To "Double Down" On Fortnite Crossovers After MultiVersus' Death

A reliable insider has claimed in the wake of MultiVersus' death that they heard it was indeed responsible for the lack of DC and Warner Bros. crossovers within Fortnite.

After months of struggling and a dwindling player count that wasn't looking like it could be revived even if we had got icons like Ben 10 and Daffy Duck, yesterday's news that MultiVersus will be ending with Season 5 and going offline didn't come as much of a shock to anyone. Even the biggest fans of the game seemed to know it was coming, even if they're not happy about it.

MultiVersus was once my favourite live-service game, but its demise was simply inevitable.

With Lola Bunny and Aquaman acting as the end of MultiVersus' crossover shenanigans, there are a lot of questions about the game left unanswered. Beyond wanting to know who else was in the pipeline for the game if it had continued, one of the biggest is what Warner Bros. is going to do with its properties next.
