Last week, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's latest expansion, Space-Time Smackdown, was released. It brought with it a seismic shift to the meta, and early signs looked like a deck containing the duo of Darkrai ex and Weavile ex would become dominant.

At least part of that prophecy has proven true, with a recent tournament seeing seven of the top eight spots taken up by Darkrai ex decks—just ones that included a Pokemon other than Weavile.
Darkrai ex and Weavile ex seemed to complement each other perfectly in the early hours of the new Space-Time Smackdown meta. It didn't take long for players to find an alternative, more viable solution, though, with the set's new Magnezone card coming up trumps.
An ideal run with the deck sees the ever-annoying Druddigon start in the active spot, potentially with a Rocky Helmet on. With a Darkrai ex on the bench, players can deal up to 60 damage each turn without attacking, provided Druddigon is attacked by the opposition.
