GTA co-creator Dan Houser has revealed his first video game project after leaving Rockstar nearly five years ago. He had taken a break from work in 2019, after which he announced that he would be leaving the company. He eventually founded Absurd Ventures, with the purpose of delivering "Ready-made Interactive leisure and entertainment software development."
If Alien: Isolation and Alan Wake can get one, it must be LA Noire's turn soon.
It seems Absurd Ventures is finally ready to reveal what it has been working on, although it's pretty vague. The studio has revealed 'Absurdaverse', which seems more like an umbrella category under which the studio will release multiple titles.
"A very first look at just a few characters from the Absurdaverse. Prepare to meet some new kinds of heroes (and watch them suffer)," says the announcement on Absurd Ventures' blog. "More information to come this year about the first animation projects and about our original story-driven action-comedy adventure game set in the Absurdaverse, now in development at Absurd Ventures."
