Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has received its second hotfix following its shaky launch on PC, fixing several major bugs and addressing optimization issues. Developed by Insomniac Games and ported to PC by Nixxes Software, Spider-Man 2 was released for PC on January 30, 2025, amid much anticipation.

Sony's highly coveted first-party game, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, originally swung onto the scene in 2023. Continuing the stories of the two Spider-Men established in 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man and its 2020 spin-off, the action-adventure title rolled out on PS5 to a highly positive reception. Its stellar commercial performance and a slew of award nominations eventually led to PlayStation porting the game to PC, a new frontier for the console maker's first-party games. Unfortunately, Spider-Man 2 experienced a buggy launch on PC, with players reporting various major issues in the ported version. However, the devs seem to have taken notice and have been acting swiftly, with two hotfixes released in the span of four days.
