Baldur's Gate 3 has always welcomed custom content and now that official modding support has been available for some time, creators are beginning to showcase some exciting new adventures. The announcement that Larian Studios was finally finished developing its massive Dungeons & Dragons RPG shocked many, but it also made room for fans to take a stab at making the game their own. Many inventive mods are already available for the game, but dedicated users are now releasing add-ons that go above and beyond mere balance tweaks.

Sharing their creation to Nexus Mods, alongside a trailer on YouTube, creator SquallyDaBeanz posted the first chapter of their expansive "Forsaken" mod that uses the mechanics of Baldur's Gate 3 to tell an original story set within the World of Warcraft universe. The current build of the mod, which is described as a "teaser level", only includes the "Deathknell" region, a recreation of the Tirisfal Glades starting zone in World of Warcraft​​​​​. As for when the rest of "Forsaken" will arrive, SquallyDaBeanz has yet to lock in a release timeline but players can expect more content in the coming months.
