Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the first big release of what is looking like a pretty stacked February, and if all of them are as appealing, then we may be looking at an all-timer. Despite director Daniel Vavra focusing on a handful of mixed reviews, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 opened to a very impressive score on both Metacritic and Open Critic, as it appears to be a critical success.

However, we all know that even if a game reviews well, it doesn't automatically mean it's going to do well commercially. Thankfully, a backlash against the game's same-sex romances did little to affect the game's pre-order numbers, and we're now seeing that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has managed to draw in a sizable crowd.

At the time of writing, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has a very impressive all-time Steam peak of 159,351 players, which is well over 60,000 more than the first game that launched back in 2018. We can probably expect that number ot rise too, as more people grab the game over the next few days and weekend to try it out.
