Re:Verse, the multiplayer game which came along with Resident Evil Village, was a celebration of the series. With characters from across the series going against each other, it was a meeting of many of the series' iconic names. After four years, Capcom has announced that it will be shutting down.
Resident Evil used to be one of the best co-op series, and 0 could bring that energy back.
As of March 3, you will no longer be able to buy the game in any digital stores or purchase any DLCs for the game. Then, on June 29, all service to the multiplayer game will stop and you will no longer be able to play it. Considering it was a celebration of Resident Evil, it looks like the party is finally over.
