The next major update for Final Fantasy 14 Online has been given a timeframe by Square Enix, and it's due in "late March" on all platforms.
This was revealed during the latest "Letter From the Producer" live broadcast, where it also revealed the update's title, "Seekers of Eternity."
Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.2 Brings New Main Scenario Quests
In the press release sent by Square Enix, an outline of the new content included in the update has been listed.
Aside from those listed, expect your usual heaping of bug fixes and various improvements related to the game's combat, mechanics and more.
Before we get that update, Square Enix has another one planned for later this month. Set to be released on Feb. 25, 2025, Patch 7.18 will introduce a collaboration with instax for a new in-game emote.
In other news related to the MMORPG, game director Naoki Yoshida has threatened legal action against a "stalking mod" that sounds weird, but a legiimate concern.
Expect Final Fantasy 14's Patch 7.2 to be met with server downtime when it's released in late March.
