Insider Suggests God Of War Could Be Taking "Young Kratos" Back To Greece

A reliable gaming insider has heard rumours that the next God of War game will feature a "younger Kratos" returning to Greece, which could indicate a remake or a prequel.

Even though it hasn't really been that long since God of War Ragnarok ended the Norse saga of games, the series continues to be one of PlayStation's most talked-about. Well, outside of Bloodborne that is. While there's no confirmation that anything to do with God of War is currently in development, there have been a bunch of rumours regarding what might be next for Kratos.

Over the past few weeks, one of the biggest rumours to have come out is that the next God of War game could be tackling Egyptian mythology, which seems like a natural step considering how Kratos has already jumped from Greece to Midgard (but not to the world of live-services). It seems that might not be the case, though, as a gaming insider has heard another rumour altogether.
