A reliable gaming insider has said that they're "in the dark" about whether a Nintendo Direct is going to end up happening in February ahead of the Switch 2's full reveal in April.
Even though Nintendo's slate of first-party titles in 2025 is looking pretty slim at the moment (with Donkey Kong Country Returns HD being both the biggest and only release so far), that won't be the case for long. After all, this year marks the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, which is bound to be a massive deal and one we've all waited to hear about for so long.
Will Wind Waker and Twilight Princess finally return?
With the full reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 slated for April, that does leave the current Switch with a few challenging months ahead of it. The slim pickings when it comes to games has raised a question as to whether Nintendo is going to bother with its usual Nintendo Direct presentation in February in favour of going all in on the Switch 2.
