It seems another mainline Resident Evil game is coming to modern consoles, as a new ESRB rating for Resident Evil 5 has been issued, suggesting a remaster is on the way.

Resident Evil 5 follows Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar in West Africa, where the Las Plagas virus has created a new army of zombies. It’s not long before several ghosts of Chris’ past return to haunt him, as old allies and enemies emerge from the shadows as culprits behind the incident.

Resident Evil 5 is already available on every modern console via backward compatibility or specialized ports. There is likely a new version of the game on the way, as a new ESRB rating for the game for the Xbox Series consoles has been spotted by Wario64 on Twitter/X.
