"I am ready to put on a show!" and "Us against the world!" are quite possibly two of the most frustrating voice lines you can hear in Marvel Rivals right now. Sure, Strategist ults might not inspire fear like Duelists, but it does pretty much guarantee that you can't do anything for the next ten or so seconds, since the enemy team is pumped with healing.
Couple those ults with the very similar area-of-effect buffs that Invisible Woman and Mantis can deal in theirs, and a clear pattern is emerging. It's enough to have fans begging for a bit of ultimate variety in the Strategist lineup, or at least some nerfs for Luna Snow's 12-second ult.
Reddit user MattDamnit unfavourably compares Luna, Mantis, and Cloak and Dagger's ultimates to Zenyatta's from Overwatch 2.
"Luna/Cloak/Mantis literally just make your team invincible for a short amount of time that only can be killed by Moon Knight ult or something similar," they write. "Just seems like every game there is a solid minute of staggered ults from these characters."
Overwatch 2 needs a competitor, not an executioner.
By this, they mean that they can make a team near-impossible to kill...
