CipSoft is bringing a fresh playable class for the first time in Tibia’s 28-year history. The Monk will step into the MMORPG’s beloved roster, unleashing mystical abilities, martial arts, and a brand-new play style that blends combat and support skills.
The team announced The Monk in a statement on the game’s official website. They also shared a video with a glimpse of the gameplay mechanics and narrative behind the long-awaited playable class. The Monk keeps to Tibia’s classical class system and adds to the existing four vocations—Knights, Paladins, Sorcerers, and Druids.

The dev team describes The Monk as a versatile melee fighter who relies on precision, agility, and spiritual connection to deliver devastating attacks. This new class departs from the traditional damage dealing as it includes unique abilities tied to “harmony, virtues, or serene” energy.
