Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale has casually revealed the name of a new character in the upcoming Deltarune Chapter 3 & 4.
Deltarune fans have been waiting nearly four years for new content, since Chapter 2 launched in 2021 as a free download. Fox has doubled down on 2025 being the year that Chapter 3 & 4 will be released, though this time as a paid package.
A new chapter cannot come soon enough, as Chapter 2 ended on a huge cliffhanger, with Kris seemingly creating a new Dark Fountain that connects to the TV in their home, the final scene showing a grinning face amidst the static.
A new piece of lore has been revealed about Chapter 3, as Fox revealed on BlueSky that a friend who had played through the game missed a character named “Tenna,” who has yet to appear in the series.

Technically, Tenna has been mentioned in official content outside of Deltarune, as a person of that name was brought up in the Spamtom Sweepstakes back in 2022, which was a charity auction involving the robotic Spamtom from Chapter 2.
