Roblox has been no stranger to controversy. From being banned in Turkey for child safety reasons, to receiving "hundreds" of reports for the same reason every day, the game is constantly brought up during discussions about online safety, particularly for children. Of course, there's also people turning outfits from certain games into male genitalia.

It seems that the game once again finds itself in hot water, this time with the SEC. The US Securities and Exchange Commission has confirmed that Roblox is part of an ongoing investigation. However, details about the investigation haven't been revealed as of yet.
“We have confirmed with Division of Enforcement staff that there are responsive emails between Enforcement staff referencing Roblox and that these emails are a part of an active and ongoing investigation,” the commission told Bloomberg. The SEC also told Bloomberg that it couldn't share staff correspondence related to Roblox, as it would cause "harm to the ongoing enforcement proceedings."
Neither Roblox nor the SEC has shared any more information about the investigation. While the game has constantly come under the spotlight...
