Escape from Tarkov Devs Confirm DLSS4 Support Is On Its Way

Tactical first-person shooter Escape From Tarkov will soon receive a substantial performance upgrade, as developer Battlestate Games confirmed that DLSS4 support is in development.

If you're not familiar with DLSS4, it's rendering tech that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to boost frames-per-second (FPS), reduce latency and improve overall image quality.

Escape From Tarkov Is Working On Community Requested Feature

Battlestate Games announced this over on Twitter/X, where the studio said, "We are following the community's increased interest in DLSS 4. We are actively working on integration of NVIDIA's updated DLSS along with other potential performance improvements and fixes for known issues in #EscapefromTarkov. The technology is undergoing internal testing and will be available in-game in the near future."

The devs then state how DLSS is "a revolutionary suite of neural rendering technologies that uses AI to boost FPS, reduce latency, and improve image quality."

With the game being optimized to use the new DLSS model rather than brute-forced, Escape From Tarkov can see performance boosts, as well as better resolution and image quality.
