The last time PlayStation checked in on Astro Bot's sales numbers, it reported the platformer had shifted 1.5 million copies and it's still unclear if that's a number to be happy or worried about. Either way, Astro Bot's sales numbers will likely be getting a boost next month as a new report claims the 2024 Game of the Year will be bundled and sold with PS5s.
That's according to French site Dealabs which has a pretty impressive track record when it comes to leaking information about PlayStation's imminent plans. According to the site, PlayStation will release an Astro Bot PS5 bundle in North America and Europe on March 13, 2025. The bundle will reportedly include a standard PS5 with a disc drive, a code for Astro Bot, and a regular DualSense, not the Astro Bot one, unfortunately.
That's some big praise coming from the former president of Nintendo of America.
