Bandai Namco has announced that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is receiving PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S ports, with fans getting the chance to vote on new characters.
One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 originally launched in 2020 on the previous generation of consoles. This was when the Wano arc of the One Piece anime/manga was still ongoing, which meant that the game’s storyline had a rather abrupt conclusion.
Since launch, One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 received a ton of DLC support, adding characters introduced later in the series, giving players a chance for Wano to play out as it does in the manga, especially with the arrival of Gear 5 Luffy.
While a fifth entry in the series is long overdue, Bandai Namco has confirmed via a new trailer on the company’s YouTube channel that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is receiving dedicated ports on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with all of the existing DLC, as well as something new.
