Pokemon Home is hosting two more Shiny Mythical Pokemon giveaways, with players expected to complete two of the Nintendo Switch-era Pokedexes to claim them.
Finishing a Pokedex is a lot easier now than it was in the old days. This is thanks to online trading, meaning players don’t have to rely on local friends & schoolmates having the Pokemon they need, as well as the Nintendo Switch’s massive audience, assuring there are plenty of people to trade with.
Despite Game Freak removing the National ‘dex and shrinking the number in each game, it’s still a time-consuming task to complete any Pokedex. Players still need to acquire hundreds of ‘Mons before they can claim their Shiny Charm.
Those who managed to catch ‘em all in some of the Nintendo Switch Pokemon games will be rewarded for their efforts, as the official Pokemon Japan Twitter/X page has announced Shiny Mythical giveaways for players.
