Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Gets A Full Reveal During PlayStation State Of Play

Shortly after Sonic's last game, Sega surprised us with a follow-up presumably coming in 2025. A new racing game dubbed Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The initial reveal of the next installment in Sonic's racing series didn't actually reveal much at all. However, CrossWorlds got a proper outing, and a full reveal, during Wednesday's State Of Play.

The first full trailer featured a lot more than just Shadow racing out of a garage. While the brooding hedgehog was a big part of the proceedings, he was shown racing against the likes of Tails, Knuckles, and even Jet the Hawk was tucked away at the back of the pack in the new trailer. The portals transport the racers to different worlds, and while CrossWorlds doesn't have a release date yet, Sega ended its better look at the game by revealing a network test will take place later this month on February 21.

Just Mario to go, although something tells me that might be a bridge too far.
