We now know when to expect Death Stranding to land on PC.

Death Stranding will come to PC on June 2nd, publisher 505 Games revealed. The game will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The PC edition of the title will come with a new photo mode, high frame-rate support, and ultra-wide monitor compatibility. Anyone who pre-orders Death Stranding on PC will receive a Chiral Gold and Omnireflector cap, sunglasses, gold and silver speed skeleton, and gold and silver armor plate. All purchases of the game will come with the following items:

  • Selections from "The Art of Death Stranding" digital art book
  • Death Stranding Original Score Expanded Edition by Ludvig Forsell (which includes 10 unreleased tracks)
  • Chiral gold and Omnireflector Ludens Mask sunglasses
  • Gold and silver power skeleton
  • Gold and silver all-terrain skeleton
  • Gold and silver Armour Plate (LV2)

Along with the reveal of the PC release date for Death Stranding, it was revealed that there will be Half-Life crossover event for the game. Not much information has been released about the event so far. We do know that Death Stranding's protagonist Sam Bridges can have a reed steam valve on the back of his head. It has also been shown that he can wear a headcrab as an accessory.

Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima recently released a tweet pointing at the possibility that he may be working on a Silent Hill title. In the tweet, Kojima is sitting at a desk with a notepad that reads "Next Week!" and is using a pencil that says "Pyramid" on it, which could be a subtle nod to the infamous Silent Hill monster Pyramid Head. The tweet reads "Sorry to be silent everyone!" The use of the word silent has added more fire to the fact that Kojima may be working on a title from the horror series, though it is a stretch. Kojima was originally working on a Silent Hill project that ultimately was cancelled. Konami is said to be working on two Silent Hill titles, so perhaps one of those games could be the game that Kojima was originally working on.

Death Stranding originally released on the PlayStation 4 last year. The game was met with critical acclaimed, earning seven nominations for the Game Developers Choice Awards.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
