Insomniac Games has rolled out a major PC update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, fixing some long-standing issues and offering a web-slinging experience. Some of the relentless crashes and weird graphical glitches reported among the community are now a thing of the past.
Update 1.212.1.0 is now live on PC, introducing a host of fixes mostly touching on input issues, graphical bugs, and crashes. Among the most notable ones is the temporary removal of AMD’s Anti-Lag 2, which was getting in the way for Radeon GPU users. This feature will return only after AMD fixes it on their end.
Devs have also tackled the numerous crashes reported when rocking the Bodega Cat Suit in the final Mysterio mission. You can now seamlessly complete the mission without a glitch even if you close the menu with an audio fragment playing in the background.
