A full reveal of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds during Wednesday's State Of Play means we now know a lot more about the previously teased game, including some of the characters that will be on its roster. We also know that there will be connections to other non-Sonic Sega games in CrossWorlds even though none of those connections were shown during its first gameplay trailer.
A deep dive into what Sonic fans can expect from CrossWorlds has been shared on the PlayStation Blog, including details on its gadgets, vehicle customization options, and something Sega has dubbed Extreme Gear. It also explains how the Travel Rings work, revealing that the character in the lead starting with the second lap of each race can dictate which new world the Travel Ring will take racers to.
