In a surprise on Thursday, Bandai Namco revealed that Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Battle Destiny, a 2012 PlayStation Vita title based off the Mobile Suit Gundam anime of the same name, is being remastered and will be released on May 22.
The game, which is set to release on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, will mark the first time that the title will be available outside of Japan. Previously, it had never been localized, though it was a popular title for gamers to try and import. An IGN article from 2012 showed the game selling over 40,000 copies in a single week in Japan, ahead of other titles like Mario Party 9 and Mario Kart 7.
