In May last year, Sony unveiled Fairgame$, a heist game, as one of its live service projects gestating in one of the company's first-party studios.
While no release date was given, a new rumor has surfaced stating that the game has been internally delayed to 2026.
Fairgame$ Is The First Project From Haven Studios
The latest rumor comes from Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb, who has leaked accurate info before. Speaking in the latest Game Mess podcast, Grubb mentions that as far as he's aware, Fairgame$ won't be released this year, and has been pushed back to 2026.
Obviously, it's hard to refute this since the game doesn't have a release window at all. The live service game was announced in 2023, and is in development by Haven Studios, the Canadian development house co-founded by Assassin's Creed co-creator Jade Raymond. The studio was acquired by Sony in 2022 despite not having released a single game to retail. However, the company is credited as a support studio for the much-maligned and history-making flop from Firewalk Studios, Concord.
