Hades 2 developer Supergiant Games has been toiling away over the past year, working on, improving, and adding new features to their early access baby. A lot of people have been waiting to dive in, and Supergiant has taken another big step towards the game's full release by announcing the game's new Warsong update.
Announced via the Supergiant Games Twitter account earlier today, this is the second Major Update to launch for Hades 2, and adds a bunch of new stuff for players to dive in and try. One of the biggest additions is a new Olympian in the form of Ares, which means a massive selection of new Boons on your future runs, as well as Duos with each existing Olympian.
Supergiant explains exactly what's been added with the Warsong Update in the patch notes on Steam, in which it explains that the "final confrontation of the surface route" has also been added, alongside some expanded story stuff. That alone sounds like a good reason to dive back in, but there are plenty of other new additions to try out too.
