Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers now have a new reason to extend their subscription. Game Pass Perks automatically unlock in-game items for select Game Pass titles. Xbox has already revealed several of the first Perks on their way to subscribers' libraries.
"Through Perks, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will now regularly receive new benefits, "Microsoft announced, "including DLC, in-game content and more – all free and included with membership."
This month's Perks include content for four current Game Pass titles, Phantasy Star Online 2, Smite, Sea of Thieves, and World of Tanks: Mercenaries.
In PSO2, players will unlock unique emotes, in-game cosmetics like an Xbox jacket, a gold ticket Mission Pass and a Meseta Crystal. In this case, these benefits are only available in the US and Canada. In Smite, players can grab five Gods, special character skins and voice packs for the mythological MOBA. Pirates in Sea of Thieves will claim new ship liveries inspired by the Ori franchise, including new Ancestral Sails, Figurehead, Hull, and Flag. Lastly, World of Tanks players will nab "three powerful tanks and more."
All of these items are delivered automatically to eligible players, so you don't need to go claiming them in any specific process. They're yours with membership.
Along with the new benefits, Microsoft revealed the new games coming to Game Pass, as well as what's leaving the service.
On Game Pass for console, players can look for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, Kona, The Surge 2 all tomorrow, March 19, Bleeding Edge on March 24, and Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on March 26. No PC dates were given but players on that platform should soon look out for Astrologaster, The Surge 2, Bleeding Edge, and Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.
Meanwhile, the following titles will be "leaving soon," which tends to mean at the end of the month.
