Pokemon TCG Pocket Fans Overwhelmed With How Many Sets Are Being Released

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Space-Time Smackdown was a big expansion. It contained 207 cards, 28 of which are a two-star rarity or above, meaning they have a 2 percent chance (or less) to be pulled.

Theoretically, this means it will take a very, very long time to get every single card from booster packs. It was released less than a month ago.

It also has the second-best win rate of all deck archetypes.

Unfortunately, players wishing for more time are out of luck, with the next expansion, A2a releasing on February 28. This short turnaround time is, unsurprisingly, filling players with a sense of overwhelming dread.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's A2a will be the game's fourth expansion in as many months. This far outpaces the regular Pokemon TCG, which releases new sets roughly every three months. Naturally, this is stressing out those with a completionist pathology.

It's natural that, if you start something, you want to finish it. Pokemon TCG Pocket's release schedule isn't allowing for that, and players on the game's subreddit have begun to panic.
