Peter Jason, Who Played The Iconic Fallout 2 Drill Sergeant, Has Passed Away

Peter Jason, well-known for playing military roles in various films and television shows, has passed away at the age of 80.

Those in the gaming community will fondly remember Jason for his performance in Fallout 2, in which he played Enclave Drill Sergeant Arch Dornan. In this role, Jason gave us one of the iconic, and quotable performances in the Fallout series as a whole, with his lines frequently referenced to this day.

Horror director and frequent collaborator John Carpenter shared the news of Jason's passing last night.

"Peter Jason, one of the great character actors in cinema, has died," he wrote on social media. "His first movie was Howard Hawks' RIO LOBO. He was a dear friend and I'll miss him terribly."

The Fallout community has been paying their respects to Jason, with the Independent Fallout Wiki also sharing the news of his passing.
