Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii Updates Us On Some Important Characters

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii might be Goro Majima's first solo game, but it also provides some big updates on some characters who are very important to the series.

Even though it really hasn't been that long since we got the last major release in the Like a Dragon series with last year's excellent Infinite Wealth, that hasn't stopped RGG Studios from already putting out another game. This one's special, though, as it focuses entirely on everyone's favourite character, Goro Majima, who finally has his own solo adventure.

Major spoilers for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will follow. Don't go further than here if you don't want to know about the final few hours.

We see Majima at his lowest, but then get to witness him rise to his finest.

Although Majima's game is clearly a bit tongue-in-cheek with its pirate theme, the former Tojo Clan vice chairman's game does have a serious story hiding underneath its eyepatch. That story also has a few nods and references to the series' other main protagonists, including giving us an important and somewhat depressing update on Kiryu's condition.
