Marvel Rivals has now entered Season 1.5, which means we're all getting used to the new buffs, nerfs, and heroes that will have undoubtedly shaken up the game's meta considerably. We already know that healer ults have been nerfed pretty dramatically, hopefully in an attempt to kneecap the triple support meta, but a lot of players are now seeing how existing characters have been tweaked.
One such character that seems to be causing a lot more bother than usual is Iron Man. Before the balance update, Iron Man saw minimal use outside of his team-up with Hulk, so NetEase decided to give him a damage boost to try and coax more players into picking him. With Human Torch looking like a better Iron Man in almost every way, he needed something to stop his pick rate tanking.
Unfortunately, just like with Moon Knight before him, NetEase appears to have gone too far in the opposite direction. One of Iron Man's biggest buffs this season was to his Unibeam, which now does a whopping 190 damage per second when boosted, and 140 raw. To put that into perspective, his Gamma Unibeam with the Hulk team-up - which was considered busted...
