Marvel Rivals got two new characters yesterday, with The Thing and The Human Torch added to the roster. This unites the Fantastic Four and also means that they joined with a basic skin already available to purchase, the First Family suits.
These skins were already just basic recolours of the other members of the Fantastic Four, but with The Thing, it's even more egregious since he's only wearing pants. That means you're putting down 600 credits, or lattice as it's called in-game, for him to slightly change the colour of his shorts, and fans aren't happy.
Reddit user justindoit1337 got the conversation going by saying that The Thing's First Family skin is the worst basic one in the game. Many, many others agree, with the post getting 7.5k upvotes at the time of writing. User WizardJeremy also points out in a reply that the colouring isn't even consistent with the others in the set, making it even more annoying.
600 lattice will cost you around $6, if you pick up one pack of 500, and another of 100. Alternatively, you can get 1,000 for $9.99.
However, there are plenty of other 600-credit skins that fans aren't fond...
